Gold Coast Tutors

Tutoring is an important support program which helps to assist parents and students. Tutoring - particularly one-on-one by qualified teachers and tutors- helps students from an early age to learn the feeling of success, to learn to enjoy it, and as a result, grow from it.

Our teachers are skilled in providing individual assistance in relation to every day curriculum needs, as well as being able to provide extension work for students who need the extra challenge. Tutoring also helps to keep the students focused, interested and to build their confidence.

Before the program begins, we discuss all your tuition needs. We look at the strengths and weaknesses of the student, and this helps to maximise the planning for success.
Contact EduKtors to talk over your student’s needs. Our teachers build students’ abilities and confidence so that they can go into all years of schooling well equipped to perform at their personal best.

Primary Tutoring

In working with students who are primary school aged, tutors must have the sensitivity and patience to work at the student’s pace, where the student is most comfortable, giving the student the best chance of benefiting from the tuition. Our teachers have the sensitivity and skill to work with the student to ensure the student develops in the necessary areas at a suitable pace.

All of our Primary Tutors are Qualified Primary Teachers. Most teachers work consistently in the classroom environment, which ensures that they are kept up to date with the most recent changes of curriculum and teaching practices.

All EduKtors teachers and tutors hold a ’Blue Card’ from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian, which ensures their positive notice for working with children.

Secondary Tutoring

Secondary school students require specific support relating to varying subject areas and year levels. We are able to provide tutors trained in most of these secondary areas to help students meet the expectations of the classroom, complete assignments and homework tasks and to achieve to their personal best. Tutoring generally helps students to organise their study schedule and ensure that their time is planned effectively. Programs for Secondary students are prepared by tutors with experience in these areas.

University Tutoring

Many of our tutors are able to meet the tertiary needs of both University and adult education courses. Give us a call to see if we can help you in these areas, and if we can’t, we’ll do our best to put you in contact with someone who can.
